Flavel is one of the most well known gas fire brands in the UK, dating back to 1965 when they launched their first fire. Flavel are based in Stoke on Trent in Staffordshire in a state of the art purpose built factory.
Flavel are proud to be a British brand making high quality gas fires and have a vast range including inset and outset models. They have some traditional outset radiant gas fires, modern hearth mounted inset gas fires and hole in the wall gas fires. There is also a choice of coal, pebble, log or radiant effects on a lot of the range. A number of their gas fires have multiple control options including manual, slide or remote control where you can turn the gas fire on/off or up & down from the comfort of your armchair. There is also a choice of open fronted gas fires without any glass or glass fronted high efficiency HE models. They even have balanced flue gas fires for homes without any chimney or flue so there really is a fire to suit practically everyone.
For your safety & peace of mind all Flavel fires feature a Flame Supervision Device (FSD) and all conventional flue models feature an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) for maximum safety. The ODS is a device which shuts off the gas supply to the main burner in the unlikely event of a fault. The FSD is a device which detects the presence of a flame, and in the absence of that flame prevents uncontrolled release of gas to the burner. All Flavel fires come with an unrivaled 5 year manufacturers warranty* subject to compliance with the manufacturers terms & conditions.
